Shibori dying is a method of tying and folding fabric to create dyed patterns.
Students will learn four different types of folding/tying and create four unique silk
Bring a bag lunch or go to convenient local restaurants. One hour for lunch. Bottled water will be provided.
Supplies: Rubber Gloves. All other supplies are provided.
Age Limit: 16+
Food/Beverages: We have a kitchen with a refrigerator, freezer, and microwaves available. We also have snacks for purchase (cash only). You’re welcome to bring your own lunch and snacks! During day long classes, there will be a break for lunch, and there are a number of restaurants close that you can eat at as well.
Parking: Lower level lot would be most convenient, in between the Sprint building (where Art on the Columbia is) and Proof GastroPub. You get to the parking lot from behind, on Colorado St. We are located on the bottom floor in the corner past Defoe and Pickett law offices. Look for the Art on the Columbia sandwich board. If you have a disabled parking permit, there is a reserved spot directly by the front door.
