Trees, trees, and more trees. Learn to paint trees with confidence.
o Paper: Arches 140 lb. cold press, four 6×8 pieces plus scraps
o Paint Graham, Winsor Newton, Daniel Smith, paint recommended.
1) Ultramarine blue 4) Sap green 7) any bright yellow 10) Permanent Rose
2) Burnt Sienna 5) burnt Umber 8) Alizarin Crimson 11) Phthalo Blue
3) Payne’s gray 6) Raw Sienna 9) Cad red light
o Brushes (make sure they are water color brushes, not oil nor all purpose. WC/acrylic are OK) ½“ flat, #4 and #8 round, #0 script liner , #12 (or larger) round with good point
o Paper towels
o Watercolor Masking fluid
o Cheap paint is very frustrating to work with. Stick to good brands like Daniel Smith, Holbein, Winsor-Newton, and Graham.
o If you do not already have water color painting supplies consider a fee of $10 and I will supply everything for you.
