This is an introduction to resin, for absolute beginners. All equipment and supplies will be provided for you, including very basic safety equipment (gloves and disposable dust mask). You are welcome to bring your own mask if you have something that you are more comfortable with.
You are responsible for bringing your own art to be resined. *Size: 12 x 12 inch or smaller.
If you have a piece made at a previous acrylic pouring class (or on your own), that has cured for at least two weeks, and has been cleaned of any silicone (if used) or other residue, that would be perfect!
In this class we will discuss safety, when working with resin. You will also learn how to properly mix and apply epoxy resin to an art piece, giving it a strong and beautiful permanent finish.
The class will run approx. an hour to an hour and a half. Finished pieces can be picked up next day.
Make sure to wear clothes that you won’t mind getting resin on, and it’s a good idea to tie back long hair.
You are welcome to bring a notebook if you would like to take notes.
Age Limit: 18+ Cost for this class is: $95
